MapWithUs is a mobile workflow solution for collecting and viewing data. Mapwith.us is the counterpart to the online GIS mapping service and data hub available at www.mapwith.us. Geolocate and upload, photos, audio, text or form data (templates) in real-time to your maps and map layers on the web. Define data collection templates on the web and instantly use the templates in the app. Once your data has been uploaded, you will be able to use the MapWith.Us web interface to analyze, edit, and share your information using the extensive toolset. All information placed into the MapWithUs system can easily be exported to standard GeoRSS, KML or Shapefiles, providing flexibility and peace of mind. If you have existing geographic data, you will also have the ability to easily import your files into the MapWithUs system. MapWith.Us can be used on and offline and has the ability to cache base layer data. MapWith.Us requires a free MapWith.Us account. Users can sign up on the web or through the mobile application. Mapwith.us can run in the background. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
